Easy HTML Autorun Builder is an application pack designed for easy creation of HTML-based CD/DVD autorun menu which provides quick access to existing files and documents. Created menu will automatically run every time you put your CD/DVD into CD/DVD-ROM. Executable CD Menu Shell works on Basis of System ‘MS Internet Explorer’ versions 4.0 or higher. This makes possible to display correctly any HTML Pages with any degree of structure complication without any limitations and with small size of executable file. Also supports some additional features needed for comfortable work with local files and documents e.g. you can open all documents in their default programs, run executable files directly by clicking links on loaded HTML Pages, use some Special Commands to open folders in Windows Explorer and close program window directly from HTML page (details are described in program help).

Easy HTML Autorun Builder Setup Pack contains:

1. Executable file of ‘Easy HTML Autorun Builder’ (builder.exe), which allows you to configure all settings of ‘Easy HTML Autorun’ Shell Start and copies all necessary Files to selected Folder containing files and folders to be written on CD/DVD;
2. Executable CD Menu Shell ‘Easy HTML Autorun’ (htmlautorun.exe), which works on Basis of System ‘MS Internet Explorer’ versions 4.0 or higher. In Distribution Kit is also used for Program Help Displaying;
3. Additional Files: Icons for displaying written CD/DVD placed in CD-ROM, Program Help etc.

Before beginning to work with program you have to:

1. Put all files and directories ready for writing on CD into separate folder so that its structure should match the root folder on created CD/DVD. Just in this folder will be placed all files created by ‘Easy HTML Autorun Builder’, which are necessary for autorun functioning.
2. Create Start HTML Page for getting easy access to all files placed in root folder and subdirectories of future CD/DVD.
Note: For creating such HTML Page you can use our other product Easy Index Generator, which allows you to create customizable links hierarchy for selected files.

Working with program is performed in Autorun Builder. The steps are described below:

1. Choose Start HTML Page which provides access to all files and documents of chosen folder;
2. Choose a project folder which files and subdirectories are intended for writing to CD/DVD;
3. Select an Icon for displaying in Windows Explorer and in CD Menu Window Title Bar when placing burned CD/DVD into CD/DVD-ROM;
4. Set configuration of CD Menu Window when starting from CD/DVD.

After all just press ‘Create’ Button in the bottom of Autorun Builder window (is being activated after choosing of project start page). In chosen folder will be additionally placed some new files:

1. Autorun Command File autorun.inf;
2. Executable Shell HTMLAutorun.exe;
3. Shell Configuration File htmlautorun.cfg;
4. Selected Icon File with *.ico extension (does not exist if for displaying is selected the Shell Icon by itself).

After Project Creation is being activated ‘Test’ Button in the bottom of Autorun Builder window which allows to run executable shell file directly from the project folder with established configuration.

When everything is done all that you have to do is to close a program and to write all files and subdirectories of Project Folder on CD/DVD with any writing software (Windows XP has built-in CD Writing Wizard).
